Amir Riep brings veteran turnover production and versatility
Amir Riep is a seasoned defensive back whose best calling card is ball production: in his Ohio State career from 2017-2019, he recorded 33 tackles and 3 interceptions across 38 games, then added a standout final college season at Lincoln (CA) in 2023 with 87 tackles and 5 sacks.[1][3] His value is in his experience, versatility (CB/S/FS usage), and ability to contribute as an aggressive, multi-level defender rather than a pure coverage specialist.[1][3] Off-field legal issues interrupted his path, but he returned to football and earned another pro look, which suggests resilience and a high tolerance for adversity.[2][3][7][8]
