7-Foot Rutgers Wall with Elite Blocking and 58% FG Efficiency
Shaquille Doorson, the 7-foot-0 Dutch center for Rutgers, stands out not just for his 8.8 rebounds and 14 blocks per game in 31 appearances, but for his relentless intensity and 58% field goal efficiency that reflects elite finishing near the rim. Unlike typical stat-heavy players, Doorson brings a rare combination of physical dominance and quiet leadership, having logged double-digit minutes in 10 Big Ten games while never missing a beat despite a clean injury history. His 2-star prospect rating (70) masks a career-high 37 efficiency rating achieved in 2025, proving he thrives under pressure. You should care because he’s a defensive anchor who elevates team morale with his steady presence; for any team needing a true floor-closing center with proven Big Ten experience, Doorson is a perfect, low-risk fit who delivers consistent, high-impact play without the drama.
