Addy Salzer brings versatile guard depth and a team-first edge to Iona
Addy Salzer is a 5'5" guard for Iona who fits the classic glue-player mold: competitive, willing to improve, and focused on being a contributing factor for the Gaels[1]. In the 2022-23 season, she played sparingly, posting 1.0 points per game in 3.1 minutes per game, with career-best flashes including a 29-point high earlier in her college career and a knack for making the most of limited touches[5]. Her value is less about volume stats and more about guard depth, energy, and buy-in — the kind of player who can strengthen a rotation if you want toughness, composure, and low-drama continuity[1][5].
