Eric Thompson brings a compact, physical build and junior-year experience to the defensive line
Eric Thompson is listed as a 5-11, 185-pound junior at UA Pine Bluff, and the most reliable public data available does not show a dominant stat profile, but his value is in a sturdy, college-ready frame and the kind of positional versatility that can help a defense absorb contact and stay disciplined at the line of scrimmage. Because current VMI Keydets-specific production data was not available in the sources provided, I would treat him as a depth-and-development evaluation: interesting if you want effort, reliability, and room to coach up, less so if you need an immediate headline-grabbing impact player.
