Gabi Lutchka is Wayne State’s matchup headache: efficient scorer, volume rebounder, and a repeat GLIAC honoree
In the 2025-26 season, Gabi Lutchka has been a frontcourt engine for Wayne State, leading the Warriors with 15.3 points per game and matching Taylor Thompson for the team lead in scoring while giving them reliable rebounding and playmaking from the forward spot[10]. She broke out with a career-high 32-point game in January 2026 and earned multiple GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, a strong clue that her game travels beyond the box score: aggressive, versatile, and clutch in big moments[3][2]. Add in academic consistency and all-conference recognition, and she looks like a tough, high-IQ fit for teams wanting a polished, productive forward who can shoulder real responsibility[11][13].
