Dual-threat QB with SEC-tested experience at Troy
Dontreal Pruitt brought a compact, dual-threat profile to Troy and flashed poise in limited action, completing 44 of 77 passes for 533 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception in the season cited by Troy Athletics. His background includes a stop at East Mississippi CC and a start at Georgia, which gives him uncommon game experience against high-level competition. The best fit angle: a quarterback who can manage the offense, extend plays, and handle a physical stage—but he’s more of a depth/competition piece than a proven long-term starter.
