Wyoming DB Al Rich brings depth, physicality, and developmental upside
Al Rich is a Wyoming Cowboys safety whose value is less about flashy box-score production and more about fitting a defense that needs reliable, physical secondary play; Wyoming’s 2025 team numbers show a defense that was sturdier than its offense, so a safety who can tackle, communicate, and hold the back end matters. Because publicly available stats for Rich are limited in the provided sources, the best read is that he profiles as a complementary piece with upside rather than a proven star—useful for teams that want discipline, toughness, and role-player consistency over highlight-reel volatility.
