Lateef McMullan brings veteran point-guard savvy and shot-making pop to Portland State
Lateef McMullan is a Portland State guard whose profile is built on pace control, quickness, and competitive edge; in Portland State’s 2012-13 bio, coaches highlighted him as a floor leader who was very quick, strong for his size, and a highly competitive presence, while at Citrus he averaged 16.3 points, 4.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 52 steals in the 2011-12 season. His value is the combo-guy stuff coaches love: he can organize an offense, pressure the ball, and chip in scoring without hijacking the flow. If your team needs a scrappy, experienced lead guard with toughness and leadership, he fits the bill.
