Bijan Anvar is Richmond’s multi-inning righty who keeps the Spiders in games
In the 2026 season, Bijan Anvar has been a valuable Richmond bullpen piece, posting a 2.50 ERA with 17 strikeouts in 18 innings while working in 14 appearances and earning a save. The differentiator is his versatility: he can bridge innings, protect leads, and handle traffic, and Richmond has used him in high-leverage spots all spring. At 6-foot-3 with a right-handed delivery and a track record of strikeouts across multiple seasons, he looks like a competitive fit for teams needing a tough, adaptable arm rather than a pure power-spec prospect.
