veteran NIU guard who’s already made her mark
Lacia Gorman is a seasoned Northern Illinois guard whose calling card has long been reliability, ball control, and perimeter shooting. In the 2015-16 season, she posted 1.7 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game with 29.5% shooting, but her real value has always shown up in the little stuff: steady minutes, smart decision-making, and a high-IQ fit in a system that values low turnovers and consistency. She was also a MAC Female Scholar-Athlete winner, which tracks with the composed, disciplined profile coaches love.
