veteran ECU LB with assignment-sound grit and special-teams value
Daniel Drake’s value for East Carolina is built on consistency, toughness, and reliability: ECU lists him as an assignment-sound inside linebacker and a strong North Carolina product, while ESPN’s stat line shows 39 solo tackles, 3 sacks, 0 forced fumbles, and 0 interceptions. He’s the kind of steady, physical defender who fits a disciplined defense, especially if you want a linebacker who knows his job, plays with edge, and won’t rattle under pressure. The catch: this is more lunch-pail than fireworks, so he’s best for teams craving dependable execution over headline-grabbing splash plays.
