Ultra-efficient Texas QB who defined steadiness
Colt McCoy was a high-IQ, accuracy-driven quarterback at Texas who finished his college career with 13,253 passing yards and 112 passing touchdowns, and he helped the Longhorns go 45-8 as a starter.[7][17] What makes him stand out beyond the box score is his poise, timing, and decision-making under pressure, plus a reputation as a tough, dependable leader rather than a highlight-reel athlete.[17] If you want a quarterback who elevates an offense through command and consistency, McCoy is the type of fit you’d trust quickly.
