Deep-rotation Duke guard with local grit and playmaking DNA
Tyce McNair is a hometown guard for James Madison whose calling card has long been feel, passing, and toughness: he was an all-state prep and holds East Rockingham’s assists record, then arrived at JMU as a walk-on and has been used sparingly in college. His edge is less about box-score volume and more about steady guard instincts, competitiveness, and a low-drama, team-first profile that can fit a program looking for depth and practice intensity. He’s a “does the little things” guard rather than a headline creator.
