Naya Ojukwu gives Cal a physical, high-efficiency frontcourt scorer
Ojukwu arrived at Cal after a breakout 2024-25 season at Morgan State, where she averaged 16.5 points and 9.1 rebounds, earned MEAC Newcomer of the Year, and repeatedly produced double-doubles. Her calling card is power: she finishes around the rim, attacks the glass, and brings real interior presence on defense with shot-blocking upside. She is not a stretch-four yet, but her low-post scoring, rebounding, and competitive motor make her a strong fit for a team needing toughness and production inside.
