Alex Morgan brings veteran size and special-teams grit to Toledo
In the 2020 season, Toledo TE Alex Morgan appeared in one game after playing in 11 games in 2019, mostly on special teams, and he entered the program as a redshirt in 2018, giving him a long developmental runway[1]. At 6-4 and 255 pounds, his appeal is straightforward: he’s a big-bodied, experienced tight end with Academic All-MAC credentials and the kind of blue-collar profile coaches usually trust in the run game, protection, and kickoff coverage[1][2].
