Nick Allen brings size, pedigree, and real frontcourt upside to Illinois State
In the 2025-26 season, Nick Allen was a redshirt freshman forward for Illinois State after sitting out that year, so his impact is still more projection than box-score production. What makes him interesting is the profile: a 6-foot-11 rim-running big with a strong Illinois résumé, including 1,596 career high school points, two-time all-state recognition, and a 2025 recruiting rank as the No. 7 prospect in Illinois and No. 48 center nationally. He looks like a physical, high-upside fit if a team wants size, touch, and long-term development.
