Texas Tech’s under-the-radar back with special-teams grit
Acevedo is a Texas Tech running back with a reputation for toughness and versatility more than headline-grabbing volume; older roster data lists him at 6-1, 197 and notes a special-teams captain distinction, which usually signals trust, effort, and buy-in. Public player pages show limited recent statistical output, so the story here is less about box-score production and more about reliability, physicality, and doing the dirty work that coaches love. If your team wants a rugged, team-first back who can help in the kicking game and bring edge to the room, he fits that mold.
