Utah QB Adam Madsen: veteran depth piece with intrigue, but not the Utes’ current answer
Adam Madsen is a former Utah quarterback, but Utah’s current 2026 depth chart is led by Devon Dampier, so Madsen is not the active Utes starter. The name carries a little program-history charm, though: Utah’s Adam Madsen was a tough, developmental passer who showed enough poise in spring ball to draw praise for competitiveness and willingness to improve, even if coaches at the time questioned whether he was ready to win at the position. For a team, he reads more like a depth/development bet than a headline-grabber.
