Physical Interior Anchor for Florida's Defensive Front
Herbert profiles as a tough, inside-run defender at defensive tackle, valued more for trench leverage, gap control, and physicality than splashy stats. Florida lists him as a 6-2, 282-pound junior, and his earlier Gators production included 36 tackles in a season and 48 tackles with 3 tackles for loss and 6 sacks in 2007, showing he can contribute as both a run-stopper and situational penetrator. He’s the kind of fit that matters if a team wants dependable interior resistance and veteran toughness in the middle.[3]
