Penn LB Hunter Hayes brings steady special-teams value and pressure upside
Hunter Hayes is a reliable Penn linebacker who appeared in all 10 games and finished the 2024 season with 17 tackles and 1.5 sacks, including four tackles against Bucknell, showing he can contribute as both a rotational defender and special-teams piece.[2] His value is less about eye-popping volume and more about availability, toughness, and flashes of backfield disruption, which can matter in a team looking for dependable depth and situational playmaking.[2] The main fit question is ceiling: he looks like a solid, low-drama glue guy rather than a headline-grabbing star.
