Miami’s veteran linebacker and tone-setter in 2026
In the 2025 season, Mohamed Toure became Miami’s defensive heartbeat, starting all 16 games, leading the Hurricanes with 84 tackles, and adding 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 6 pass breakups[1][6][8]. He’s the rare linebacker who pairs production with resilience: an eighth-year veteran who fought back from multiple ACL injuries, earned All-ACC honorable mention, and was named to the 2026 Butkus Award watch list[1][7]. If a team wants experience, edge, and a reliable sideline-to-sideline tackler who already proved he can anchor a defense, Toure is a strong fit[2][9].
