Clem Butler brings proven playmaking and red-zone punch to Davidson's backfield
Clem Butler is a productive Davidson running back whose value shows up in both the box score and the margin-for-error stuff: consistent rushing production, finishing ability near the goal line, and the kind of reliability that helps an offense stay on schedule. Davidson’s official roster notes him as the school’s record holder with 4,431 rushing yards and 67 total touchdowns, which signals a high-end, proven runner rather than a situational piece. If you want a back with track record, toughness, and a clear offensive identity fit, he’s worth attention.
