Nicholls DB Jerrion Burton: a depth-chart defender to watch for range and reliability
Jerrion Burton profiles as a **defensive back worth tracking** because his value is less about flashy box-score totals and more about fit, discipline, and back-end versatility for Nicholls.[5][8] Publicly available team/roster data confirms he is on the 2026 Nicholls roster, but the provided sources do not include detailed individual production, so the safest read is that he is a **projectable role player** rather than a proven stat leader right now.[5][8] For a team, that makes him interesting if you want a DB who can compete for snaps with steady, assignment-sound play rather than headline-grabbing numbers.[5][8]
