UNC’s long, high-IQ forward with real shooting touch
Beau Maye is a **6-foot-7 forward** for North Carolina who brings a versatile, team-first profile: he averaged nearly **15 points and eight rebounds** at Hough High and earned **I-Meck All-Conference** honors, while UNC described him as a walk-on addition who quickly showed feel by scoring eight points with two threes in live action. The appeal is less about box-score volume and more about his motor, spacing, and basketball bloodlines, making him a useful low-drama fit for a system that values toughness, IQ, and complementary skill.
