Hunolt’s early-2026 ace work has North Florida riding a lefty who pounds the zone
In the 2026 season, Macie Hunolt has already shown she can set the tone for North Florida: she opened with two wins, eight scoreless innings, and an ASUN Pitcher of the Week nod, then kept flashing the same calm, competitive edge that made her a breakout as a freshman in 2025. She’s a left-handed starter who pairs strike-throwing with poise and enough bat-missing ability to control games, and the big differentiator is consistency under pressure—she doesn’t just pitch, she stabilizes a staff. Great fit if you want a dependable, low-drama competitor with upside.
