a steady, surprise starter at right cornerback for Tennessee
In the 2026 season, Art Evans has emerged as one of Tennessee’s biggest camp winners, earning a starting spot at right cornerback after a strong offseason and fall camp. The Vols describe him as a steady performer who brings reliability, effort, and real ball production, including 39 tackles and three pass breakups. Why care? He looks like a player coaches trust in coverage and in the run game, with enough consistency to fit a team that values toughness over flash.
