Michael Johnson brings Chicago State backcourt experience and steady guard depth
Michael Johnson is a Chicago State guard with a veteran-college-basketball profile and a clear point-guard skill set, but the public stat trail available here is thin, so his value reads more as backcourt steadiness than headline-grabbing production. In the 2026 season context, he looks like a player who can help with structure, ball handling, and experience if your team needs a reliable floor general rather than a flashy high-usage scorer. The big question mark is current impact, because the accessible data does not show a robust recent statistical profile, so his fit depends on whether you want control and composure over offensive fireworks.
