Amari Pryear is a compact, explosive freshman back who can flip field position in one burst
In the 2026 season, Hampton freshman RB Amari Pryear has already flashed big-play juice, rushing for 132 yards on 8 carries in the opener, including a long of 65 yards and a gaudy 16.5 yards per carry. At 5'6", 185 pounds, he profiles as a low-center-of-gravity runner with burst, contact balance, and home-run ability rather than a volume grinder. He looks like a worthwhile fit if a team wants an undersized, physical change-of-pace back who can stress defenses immediately.
