Brandon Perkins brings ball-hawking production and back-end toughness to Southern Utah
Perkins was a true playmaker for Southern Utah last season, leading the Thunderbirds with 3 interceptions and finishing fourth on the team with 84 tackles, which signals both coverage instincts and run support value. He also added 45 solo tackles, 2 sacks, and 4 pass breakups, suggesting a safety who can do more than just patrol deep—he can trigger downhill, blitz, and affect throws at the catch point. If you want a defensive back who creates turnovers, plays with range, and shows versatility, he fits the mold.
