Chattanooga's 60-Win Ace with 727 Career Strikeouts
Emery Bales, the 5'5" right-handed pitcher for the 2026 Chattanooga Mocs, has delivered 60 wins and 727 career strikeouts with a 4.81 ERA, ranking her as the team's second-leading strikeout pitcher[1][5]. Her differentiators include an intense, battle-tested mentality forged from leading Halls High to Top 15 state rankings and multiple 30-win seasons[2], plus a unique dual-threat capability—she hit .402 as a batter and scored on a 2-RBI bunt home run in live games[1][4]. While her 1.42 whip rate suggests occasional control challenges[3], her resilience is evident: she holds a 9-9 record despite facing elite SoCon opponents, including a shutout win over No. 5 Wofford[6]. Personality-wise, teammates cite her as a 'big part' in recruitment decisions due to her infectious energy and program pride[9]. For your team, Bales is a high-fit if you need a durable, high-intensity starter who thrives in pressure—her 457 innings pitched prove she can handle a full season load[1].
