Tyree Stone-Davis brings veteran DB instincts and playmaking flashes to Eastern Illinois
Tyree Stone-Davis gives Eastern Illinois a seasoned defensive-back option with proven game-impact moments, including an interception that helped set up a touchdown and three pass breakups in the 2016 season, along with 17 tackles across 10 games and three starts at cornerback.[1] His fit is strongest for a team that values experience, ball skills, and situational reliability more than raw splash numbers; the roster bio shows a transfer who completed his degree before joining EIU, which usually signals maturity and roster-ready discipline.[1] For a DB room, he looks like the kind of steady, competitive depth piece coaches trust when assignments matter.
