a former Nicholls DB, not a current 2026 impact player
Victor Mattaur appears on Nicholls’ historical roster as a defensive back from the 2015 era, where he logged early-career snaps and 2 tackles as a freshman, but there’s no current 2026 game-performance profile or stat-leader trail tying him to the present Colonels roster[1][3]. The big differentiator here is not a box-score flood; it’s more the profile of a developmental DB who earned reps, showed roster versatility through his football background, and fit the program’s physical, hard-nosed Louisiana pipeline—but he does not read as a current transfer target or active fit based on the available records[1][2].
