Brandon Tucker brings all-conference production and downhill striking ability to UC Davis
Brandon Tucker is a proven, high-motor defender whose 2024 breakthrough at East Texas A&M included 141 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and All-America recognition, signaling a player who can change a defense with volume and violence at the point of attack[6][8]. He earned Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors and was a Buck Buchanan Award finalist, with a season-high 19 tackles in one game underscoring his tackle-to-tackle range and reliability[8][9]. If your team wants a physical, instinctive linebacker who consistently finds the ball, Tucker fits; the main question is whether his production translates cleanly against a higher level of competition[6][8].
