Columbia Lions' Rebounding Legend with Global Impact
Amara Mbionwu etched her name in Columbia history by finishing her career ranked ninth all-time with 548 rebounds (2014-15), showcasing elite board-crashing tenacity as a forward who started 13 games that season and delivered clutch lay-ins, like consecutive scores to rally against Lafayette in 2013. Her differentiator? Relentless intensity and leadership, extending off-court as a TrueSport ambassador empowering Ugandan girls through basketball camps on nutrition and hydration. A proven winner with heart—perfect fit for teams craving tough, community-driven rebounders.
