Jarvis McCann brings ball-hawking upside to UT Martin’s linebacker room
McCann profiles as a defensive backer with playmaking instincts, highlighted by an interception on his ESPN player profile, which suggests he can impact games beyond traditional tackle totals. With UT Martin’s recent winning standard and defensive identity, he looks like a useful fit for a system that values discipline, awareness, and turnover creation. The challenge is that publicly available 2025-26 stat detail is limited, so the bigger takeaway is his disruptive potential rather than a full statistical breakout. If you need a linebacker who can read, react, and flash in coverage, McCann is worth a closer look.
