Delvon Gulley brings freshman All-American pedigree and long-limbed CB upside to UAB
Gulley is a **6'1" cornerback** with clear developmental upside, arriving at UAB after earning **Third Annual FCS Football Central Freshman All-American Team** honors in 2024 at Alabama A&M. His profile points to a longer, physical press-corner fit who can match up well with bigger receivers and grow into a disruptive role as he develops. The big question for a new team fit is translation: his value is tied to how quickly his athletic traits and technique adjust to a tougher Group of Five level, but the early recognition suggests real talent and competitive consistency.
