Cody Madison brings veteran versatility and ball-skills upside to Tulsa’s linebacker room
Cody Madison is the kind of linebacker fit coaches like: experienced, physical, and useful in multiple roles, with Tulsa’s roster page noting 39 career games, two starts, and production as both a runner and receiver in his earlier football background. The biggest appeal is his versatility and willingness to do the dirty work, which can matter more than raw stat totals for a depth or special-teams piece. Because the available sources do not provide current 2025-26 tackle, sack, or ranking data for him, the safest read is that his value is as a seasoned, adaptable defender rather than a headline-grabbing stat leader.
