7-foot anchor with old-school size and rim protection upside
John Hawkins is a 7-foot, 252-pound redshirt junior center for Miami (OH), giving the RedHawks a legit paint body and a classic big-man profile that can still matter in the MAC. He stands out for his size, rebounding presence, and matchup value around the rim; the catch is that publicly available recent production data is thin, so his appeal is more about physical tools and roster fit than flashy stat lines. If you need a bruiser who can occupy space, battle on the glass, and change the geometry of the lane, he’s your kind of big.
