Navy’s John Carroll is a sneaky-useful lefty with room to climb
In the 2025 season, John Carroll gave Navy a compact, low-slot left-handed look and flashed real endurance upside by working a career-high two innings against Holy Cross, a small but telling step for a young arm. He’s listed at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds and has been used as a sophomore LHP in 2026, which hints at a developing bullpen role rather than a finished product. The appeal is profile fit: a scrappy lefty with potential situational value, not overpowering stuff. If your team wants a tough, developing bullpen piece with deception and roster flexibility, he’s interesting.
