veteran Austin Peay guard with deep program roots
Brandon Burney is listed as an Austin Peay guard and has long been part of the program’s backcourt picture, but publicly available current stat coverage is thin, so the clearest read is on profile rather than production. The standout takeaway is his longevity and familiarity with the Governors’ system, which usually signals trust, toughness, and a steadying presence in the locker room. He looks like the kind of guard coaches value for reliability and chemistry more than flashy numbers, though up-to-date season stats were not readily available in the sourced material.
