Steady Playmaking Guard Who Runs the Offense
In the 2013-14 season at Winthrop, Brandon Vega was a reliable point guard who averaged 3.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 32 games, while finishing third on the team with 61 assists and posting a 46.4% field-goal mark. His value came less from volume scoring and more from poise, ball security, and making the right read—evident in a nine-assist outing against Barber-Scotia and an eight-assist, zero-turnover game versus Virginia Intermont. He profiles as a dependable floor general who can help a team by organizing possessions and keeping the offense steady.
