Redshirted TE with Elite Size and High-Intensity Drive
Grant Oberheu, a 6'3", 250-lb Tight End for New Mexico State, earned a redshirt in the 2021 season after not seeing game action, preserving his eligibility while developing physically. His differentiators include elite size for the position, a background as a top-27 receiver in New Mexico (669 receiving yards), and a dual-threat mindset as a former Defensive End. Though his college stats are limited due to redshirting, his intensity level is high—he describes himself as a "high-performing academic and athletic individual" with a strong AggieUp identity. His personality is driven, disciplined, and team-oriented, making him a reliable fit for teams needing a physical, intelligent TE who can grow into a key contributor. Injury history is clean, and his intensity suggests he’ll thrive in high-pressure environments.
