Akron LB Jared Smith is on the radar, but public 2026 production data is thin
Jared Smith is listed as an Akron Zips linebacker, but the available public results don’t surface clear 2026 stat production or scouting detail, so the cleanest read is that he’s more of a watch-list name than a proven box-score star right now. The value case here is classic linebacker stuff: if he’s on the field, Akron is betting on tackling, downhill urgency, and special-teams toughness, but there isn’t enough verified public information to crown him a breakout yet. In other words, intriguing body of work? Maybe. Full-on green light for a team fit? Not without more 2026 tape and stats.
