Trey Thompson brings SEC-tested size, rebounding, and glue-guy value to Arkansas
Trey Thompson is a 6-foot-9 Arkansas veteran who made his name as a high-IQ forward: in the 2017-18 season, he played in 114 career games overall, grabbed 384 rebounds, and tallied 246 assists, a rare passing touch for a frontcourt player. Arkansas also noted his 2014 recruiting profile as the No. 2 player in the state and a consensus top-250 national prospect, which tracks with the way he impacted winning through toughness, rebounding, and versatility rather than pure scoring flash. If your team wants a smart, physical, unselfish forward who does the little stuff, he fits the bill.
