Austin Carlisle brings speed-first QB upside to Louisiana-Monroe
Austin Carlisle is a 5-foot-10, 190-pound sophomore QB at Louisiana-Monroe with real dual-threat juice: in 2025 at Houston, he logged 4 carries for 38 yards, and his game profile is built around elite speed rather than polished passing volume. He was listed on ULM’s 2026 roster and depth chart after transferring in, but he still projects behind more established options, so the appeal is long-term upside rather than instant savior mode. The quirky part? His speed is the calling card, and that can make him a change-of-pace headache for defenses if his throwing catches up.
