South Dakota guard Shy McClelland brings a team-first scoring spark

Shy McClelland’s profile is built around **unselfish guard play**, with an emphasis on helping an offense flow rather than forcing shots; earlier career coverage described him as the kind of senior guard who could lead while keeping teammates involved. That makes him appealing to teams that value composure, ball movement, and low-drama fit over pure volume production. Based on the limited reliable public information available here, the strongest takeaway is that he projects as a **connector** who can stabilize an offense and complement higher-usage scorers.
