Legendary Bucknell Bison LB Captain from the 1980s Era
Jeff Goyette, a four-year starter and team captain for the Bucknell Bison linebacker position around 1985, showcased leadership and tenacity as noted in team guides and Ivy League previews; post-college, he captained the 1985 Ivy League Champion Penn Quakers to their fourth straight title. No current (2026) college performance data available as this appears to reference a standout from decades past—his differentiator was relentless intensity and championship pedigree, making him a prototypical hard-nosed LB fit for teams valuing veteran savvy over raw stats.
