Veteran Aztec DL Who Wins With Motor, Versatility, and Grit
Garret Fountain brings proven production and tone-setting effort to San Diego State’s front: in the 2023 season, he logged 41 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 2 passes defended, and his career line includes 7 sacks and 103 tackles. He began as a linebacker before moving to defensive end, which speaks to his adaptability and football IQ, and SDSU honored him with the 2023 Most Inspirational Player and Best Defensive Lineman awards. If your team wants a tough, experienced, high-motor defender who’s been trusted in big roles, Fountain absolutely deserves a look.
