Tyson Gordon brings rangy ball skills and two-way savvy to NDSU’s secondary
Tyson Gordon is a 6-foot-2 safety from Omaha who entered North Dakota State with a reputation for ball production, tracking ability, and quarterback-level field vision from playing both sides of the ball in high school. In 2021, he appeared in two games and logged two solo tackles, and early evaluations praised his ball skills and instincts more than pure measurables. That combination makes him a potentially useful fit for a defense that values disciplined, physical DBs who can read routes and make plays on the ball.
