Ball-hawking, all-around DB with proven playmaking chops
Michael Lawson brings real defensive-back juice: at Western Illinois in the 2021 season, he piled up 151 tackles, 6 interceptions, 12 pass breakups, 3 sacks, and 6 forced fumbles, a rare blend of tackling, disruption, and turnover creation that screams high motor and instincts. He was also a captain and earned second-team all-conference honors, which fits the profile of a tone-setter you can trust in the run game and on the back end. If you want a DB who plays physical, flashes playmaking instinct, and adds leadership, Lawson checks a lot of boxes.
